About Us

Our Story

APEX Driving School was built on a simple belief: learning to drive should feel safe, supportive, and personal. As a family-owned and operated business, we proudly serve our Kentucky community with a hands-on approach—investing in your safety every step of the way.
Owned by Tanya Peters, Certified Driving Instructor, and led by Jim Peters, Lead Certified Instructor, APEX combines years of teaching experience with decades of real-world driving knowledge. Together, they’ve created a program where every lesson is tailored to the student’s pace, confidence level, and goals.
We’re also committed to staying at the forefront of driver education. APEX Driving School is a proud member of the ADTSEA (American Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association) and the DSAA (Driving School Association of the Americas)—ensuring our training reflects the highest industry standards and best practices.
Being family-run means we treat every student like one of our own. We understand the nerves, the excitement, and the responsibility that come with learning to drive. Our mission is to help teens, adults, and seniors become safe, confident drivers in a positive, encouraging environment.
At APEX Driving School, it’s more than driving—it’s building confidence, independence, and lifelong skills on the road, all while investing in your safety.
